I hear you, when I was in the same situation, working in corporate america in SF, i found that I often had a similar conversation with friends...so are you making art? Or that our conversations often went in this direction. So we started collaborating and committing to make one small piece every two weeks and to pass it on to someone we knew. It was all very simple and difficult because the intentions and big ideas could potentially get in the way. But it was great and stimulating to receive a postcard in the mail from a stranger that took the time to sketch, paint, photograph some little inspiration for me. Maybe a small act of creativity is all you need. Want to send me a postcard...I will send one back.

Hey I did the Paris too - and am back for another go this year!

You are certainly right about the effects of change, which when viewed as an opportunity can be as reinvigorating as relaxation.

All the best,

I've done 5, 4 and 1 for sure. I have yet to crack or scratch, thank goodness.

Good advice always. I am especially cautious of the various settings after having shot on the wrong WB, wrong ISO, wrong shutter release on several shoots. My favourite "wrong release mode" story is forgetting I had it in auto-bracket mode -- only every third shot was correctly exposed.
